BASIC I Reading and Phonetics, Introductions: expressing age, profession and nationality, descriptions, daily activities or routines, taking public transportation, making invitations, going to the Restaurant, Shopping at the convenience stores and local markets giving directions among other subjects. 2. BASIC II Making personal phone calls; flight, hotel and restaurant reservations shopping at the handicraft markets and jewelry shops, get bus tickets, go to the movies, to the doctor, reserve and ask questions about local tours, be able to express the most common complaints at a hotel, going to the bank among other subjects. 3. BASIC III Talk about family and occupations, cooking, parts of the house, shopping at a shoe and clothing store, get familiar with the most common animals and trees of the area, talk about likes and dislikes, sports and music, order food on the phone, get completely immersed in Spanish by spending a weekend at a ranch in the mountains where he/she will be part of a Mexican family and become familiar with the domestic activities as well as the vocabulary and expressions needed in a farm among other subjects.
