I. BASIC LEVELS: The basic level is divided in three sections: Basic I; II and III. The main objective is that the student might visit any Spanish speaking country and be able to perform any tourist related activity he/she wishes. These levels are more conversation focused; students are encouraged to verbally communicate with people in the community so they achieve the first most important step when learning a language: loosing the fear of making mistakes when faced with a native speaker. II.PRE-INTERMEDIATE LEVELS: This level starts focusing on the four abilities: writing, listening and, reading comprehension and oral production; still, oral production is the most encouraged in this level. Students immerse in the local culture by interviewing different people in the community. You will learn more complex structures of the language, such as past tenses and subjunctives, in a very simple and practical way. This level is divided in two parts, 80 hours each. III . INTERMEDIATE LEVELS: This level focuses more on reading, writing and research. The teacher will provide the students with reading material which will serve as an introduction to the subjects being discussed. Once they are familiar with the most important expressions and vocabulary, the students will gather more information on those subjects using the internet (in Spanish), interviewing experts on the subjects and reading other books which will be recommended by the school so they can give presentations to their classmates and special guests. This level is divided in two parts, 80 hours each.
